Jim joined Greycroft in 2022 and is based in Los Angeles. He is the former Global and US CEO of Deloitte Consulting and served on the firm’s US and Consulting Board of Directors. Jim is a recognized thought leader on enterprise strategy, go-to-market, business scaling, talent development, and transformation. Jim’s extensive professional background includes his 32-year career at Deloitte Consulting, one of the largest professional services organizations in the world, where he worked across multiple industries and sectors. Under his leadership at Deloitte, Jim was responsible for setting the vision, values, and cultural tone that led to the creation of an integrated global strategy, fostered innovation, and built emerging technology capabilities through ecosystem and alliance development. During his tenure, the consulting business grew to a $14B+ business on the path to achieving revenue of $20B. Jim currently serves as an independent director and/or advisor for a range of companies that include First Hawaiian Inc., a bank holding company with $25B in total assets, headquartered in Honolulu, Hawaii and its principal subsidiary, First Hawaiian Bank, where he serves on the Risk and Nomination/Governance Committees. Jim is also a board member for Digital Transformation Opportunity Corporation, a SPAC focused on Digital Transformation and Healthcare. Jim’s private company directorships include Optiv, Icertis, and AmplifAI. Additionally, Jim serves as Vice Chair on the Board of Advisors and Executive Committee of the UCLA Anderson School and as a Trustee on the UCSD Foundation Board. Most recently, Jim served as Chair of the UCLA Chancellor’s Cabinet Council and as Chair of the Corporate Council of the American Film Institute. Jim holds a BA in Biology and Management Science from the University of California at San Diego and an MBA from UCLA Anderson School of Management. He is a 2018 graduate of both the Director’s Consortium at the Stanford University Graduate School of Business and the Master Class of National Association of Corporate Directors.
