Mark Shedletsky is Founder and CEO of Vertical Mass, the only data management platform and marketplace for the music, sports and entertainment industry. Vertical Mass helps its clients identify its most active audiences across all digital platforms and leverages that data for insights and hyper-targeted media to reach those fans at scale.
Prior to founding Vertical Mass, Mark was the President of Digital for Simon Fuller’s XIX Entertainment, overseeing all global digital activities for the company and its roster of talent including David Beckham, Andy Murray, Carrie Underwood, Aloe Blacc, Steven Tyler, Jennifer Lopez and more. Mark’s previous company, BlueHaze, a San Francisco based start-up powering the leading mobile app SaaS platform for the music industry, was acquired by XIX Entertainment in 2011. Prior to founding BlueHaze, Mark was the Head of Consumer Marketing for BitTorrent Inc, the dominant P2P network with over 150 million users worldwide and the co-founding Head of Marketing & Brand Partnerships at MTV in Canada, overseeing all consumer marketing and integrated sales activities for MTV’s most successful channel launch globally. Mark has also held marketing roles at MTV (NY), Rogers Media and Universal Pictures.
Mark earned an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and a Bachelor of Commerce from McGill University.
